Wow nice bull!  :o Those are some great pictures. He didn't seem too worried about your presence. What part of the country was that?

he was more interested in eating than he was in me. i'd call to him and all he'd do was grunt and continue browsing.central western manitoba.

Nice bull! Did you just not have a tag or are they not open in that area. Please dont tell me you're one of those guys who goes out on an elk hunt and when a legal moose steps out in front of you you wont shoot it! :-\

in manitoba you can only have 1 tag or the other in a draw area, and not both at the same time. i didn't apply for any draws or go for general moose season this year as i had major shoulder repairs done last winter. next year.i will be going muzzleloader & rifle deer this year though. can,t wait till this mon. opener ;D

Looks like you found that bull I was looking for, I will just come by and pick him up, where did you say he was? Man I spent so much time sitting and calling, and you have them just come to you, what am I doing wrong? Nice bull, next year he will be yours.

well fly-in i'd really like to help you out but :-\ :-X ;) then i might not find him next year! ;D
i'm not sure where your sitting? but maybe it's in the wrong spot? and for too long. try and find lot's of moose sign and no people sign and call. keep at it and don't get discouraged and it'll happen when you least expect it! ;D
