New Yorks spring trapping season is on its way.  I cant wait until this ice breaks and the creaks are flowing.  Beaver and rats are in trouble!!!

Hope it keeps raining here to help get rid of this snow and ice.  Going to do a little scouting this weekend to see how my spots are looking.  Cant wait to start setting traps!!

Flocks of Canadas are in the air, and they're not the residents anymore.  Co-worker saw a big flock of red-winged blackbirds earlier this week.

Ditto what Dom said.

I'll see them into January easy here as long as they have a food source.  There is a patch of sumacs behind where I work, and there is usually a flock of 30+ birds there well into winter.
