I wouldn't, not a whitetail. I wouldn't especially if I knew someone locally raise them. I would have notify him of his escapee. What does the DEC say on this matter?

ya know this thread is one that can be looked at like this.not a one of us REALLY TRUELY know what we would do in that given situation.its like sayin if i had more money than i knew what to do with i would invest it or spend wisely.we all have an opinion but untill you are put in the position you never really know.sitting at a computer you have time to think about it.anyways that is just my thought.

Being only a mile from the farm, the guy was probably aware that seeing one hunting was a possiblity. I can imagine his satisfaction when one showed up and he laid the smack down on it.
