how big is your moose!

just curious how many people on here killed a moose and size comparision for the different areas. mine is a n. maine moose taken in '05 w/ a 7mm mag. was 52 1/2 in. dried spread. 890 lbs dressed. hes hanging on my living room wall now. anyone else? stories on how you took yours. i was comfronted by the cow he was with 2 times till' i put a second bullet in him and drove her off. thought i would have to explain to a warden why i killed 2 moose instead of one! im sure my fellow maniacs will put a few on here as the 1st. season opened yesterday. biggest tagged so far is 1050lbs. dressed but the week is still young.

562 pounds....Nice Little Bull....Back in 2002...first year I ever applied for a Maine Moose permit!! 8)

I have been lucky enough to have been able to take part in four moose hunts, soon to be 5 as one of my buddies got picked this year and I am going as a sub. Ive been picked twice and so has my Dad. The first two times we took cows and the last two times we took Bulls
 
This bull was from 2008 he weighed 680 I forget the spread I think it was 41"



This bull was from 2009 he weighed 700 with a spread of I think 48"



This years pics soon to come as the season starts in a few weeks

Take the camera in the field and lets see the gutting and getting it out of the woods process... ;)

Some nice bulls. I have yet to see a moose. They do wander down my way once in a while.
