how did everybody do the first week of moose hunting.i,ll be heading up to zone 3
on saterday for week 2 to try my luck. can,t waite. its going to be agood time.
the fall colors should be beutiful.

hey deer hunter thought you had the first week, well i had the first week we got a 906 lb 13 pt bull the second day saw 15 moose total in 2 days hunting and 2 days scouting should have been done the first morning but the fella that was shoting the moose jammed his gun and the moose ran off but they r there just be patient let me know where you are going to be hunting maybe i can give you a spot to hunt

bear baiter. i,ll be hunting south of eagle lake east of rt 11 to start. if it is
crouded with hunters we,ll move elsewhere. sounds like you had some fun.
the few reports i,ve got didn,t sound good.too warm was the excuse.
i think it was poor judgement on the hunters part. smookings cigars while
on stand, same cloths evryday etc. moose can smell too, if i can get acess to a computer i,ll post and let you know how we are doing.

hey, deer hunter if it is croded up there try coming down towards portage and going in on the soucie hill road, just before u get to the long hill with the tower on it coming from portage towards eagle lake , i saw alot of good moose in this area while i was up there have seen alot of big bulls and cows in this area over the years of hunting in there , if no luck there try going over towards van buren on rte 1 in cyr plantation there where some big bulls shot in there in just a few days with alot of moose sign , this spot is where i found all most of my moose sign had bulls coming into my calling in here so i know they are there saw alot of moose in here also

We had 14 hunters and killed 14 Bulls bigest 1040lb drest and 61 inchs.Alot of bulls over 50 inchs.13 hunters in oct.should do great we will see

Hey thats great deerhunter, thats a goodsize cow, I bet it will be good eating. We'll need to hear more of the story and maybe some pictures when you get time.

i shot it on stans road in township 26 right next to stockhome me in zone 3.of rt 161.saw alot of bulls we could of shot also.
