22 degrees and not a stir in the woods, not even a Mouse.

It's not being cocky if you can back it up!

Got out Tuesday night and then hunted Friday and Saturday.

Tuesday night was a good night saw bunch of bucks including a nice 8 but not the one I was after.

Friday and Saturday were slow for me just young bucks. Friday afternoon I got in to the stand later as I was checking some cams making a plan for the evening and had a buck Iím after on it 30 mins before I climbed the tree.

My buddy shot one Friday night. Went and helped him find it Saturday mid morning. Iím surprised we found him dead and that he wasnít still alive. He had hit him low and only got bottom of one lung.

Heís a pic I took of the deer last November from the tree.

Had one of the bucks I was after come in this morning. Got to about 35 yards  and turned to follow a doe.  I snort wheezed at him and he bolted. Thought he would be aggressive as he just pushed off a small 8 which was standing behind me. Donít become an old buck making mistakes though.
