Who's.  your taxidermist you use or recommend    For deer mounts, and  average price ??

I know someone who does them and from what I can see he does a fantastic job but he is being a poop........he was my imagination at one time

Josh from west wind taxidermy.  He lives just outside auburn. Not sure where you live in NY.  He does fantastic work and at a good price.

Hillside taxidermy in steuben is where I take all of my stuff. He does excellent work. The mount i'm getting done now is 450. Keiths taxidermy in Forestport also does great work. We take stuff up there once in awhile too.

Bambi's outside of Weedsport. Does nice work. I have 15 year old mounts that have held up great. Believe he is currently charging around 350 for a shoulder mount. He is doing a full mount of my 2014, 400# bear for $700

I'm not trying to knock Bambi's but I personally wouldn't have them do any of my mounts.  If you want something mounted just to have it mounted for a cheap price Bambi's is the place to go and they will tell you that.  The mounts don't look horrible they just look like the price you paid.
