That is quite an achievement! I've never heard of anyone getting one without dogs besides randomly stumbling into one

That is simply awesome! That kind of hunt truly shows how much hunting skill a person has. A GIANT congratulations to your son on doing something very few hunters have EVER done. I would bet that in all the states where lion hunting is legal, actually calling, stalking, glassing and then actually killing a lion happens less than 10 times. That's the first time I've ever heard of it so I know it must be rare. A truly great accomplishment!

Hey Guys thanks I will let him know. I had went with him and it can be some long days without anything, you call in a bunch of birds if your into bird watching you would like Lion hunting. every set you always wonder what might have came in that you did not see. I know one late afternoon he was by himself he heard a Lion growl. I am amazed I have only seen three alive while hunting in 35 years. I do know this, if anyone could pull it off my son could do it, when he decide to do something he put all his energy into it. POk3s I know you are capable.
