I would love to get a 22-250 though. One of my buddys has one and they are amazing. He dropped a 200 lb 9 pointer in his tracks with it. The accuracy at long ranges is incredible. I've seen him successfully take 250-300 yard head shots at the strawberry farm when we go nuisance hunting. Plus its a perfect varmint rifle. |

I hunt some thick stuff her in Maine and grew up shooting this gun....30/30 Marlin....has killed all but 2 of my deer, the other 2 were with a bow. |

Usually when I rifle hunt it's on a farm. I bought a 30-06 because it's one of the most versatile calibers. |
