I seen the biggest Hen I ever seen today,,it had to stand 3' high,wasn't sure what it was at first...

my friend and I had 4 hens come in strutting once to us calling...it was really weird, they puffed up like males and came running to the calls a good 350yrds

The Mild winter has been kind to the flocks this year, they have a Huge head start on the season, they were able to stay on the feed all winter and the 3 flocks that I've seen so far are looking Fat and Sassy !

           I don't generally hunt them but I've seen a few nice 1's out back about 1/4 mile or so, I might go after 1.
