That is an amazing looking cat - It must have been quite surprising when you walked up on that set.   

And I'm not surprised the information traveled to Augusta so quickly.... From what I've read, there are few hotter topics within the DIFW then a captured lynx.

Hey GG,  I meant to ask how your interaction with the warden/biologist went?  Doesn't look like you were breaking any laws with your set, but I know lynx are a sensitive subject -  Were they cool?  Did they offer any addiitional info on lynx in the area?

Lynx are on the Maine endangered species list i believe and they are illegal to kill or purposely trap. Check the date on the original post, 5 years ago. I looks like GG is still around though. I wonder if he/she has seen any more?

Too bad they wouldnt let you get a pic holding it like a kitten when it was knocked out. that would be cool
