Expanded Archery Question??
« on: Sep 03, 2012, 02:03:18 PM »
So as I read the law book on permits to hunt in Expanded Archery zones, it reads multiple doe tags at 12$ and one Buck tag at 32$. Can you buy both expanded doe and buck at once and walk into the woods with both permits in your pocket so you can shoot a doe or a buck? Or,,, Is it a buy one tag one, buy another one.... as I understand it you can walk out with a doe and buck tag. but does are buy one get one...Im thinking about emailing a Game Warden to find out...

You are allowed to buy as many doe tags at a time as you want but only one buck tag per year. No need to shoot one in order to be able to buy another tag.

This is how I do it. I buy 2 expanded archery doe tags and the expanded archery buck tag. So in September I can kill 3 deer at once if the opportunity permits. Come October you can use your Regular tag too. So in October, if I haven't filled any tags I can shoot 2 bucks and 2 does, unless I get an Any Deer tag and then I get an extra doe tag.
