I got a Bowtech Destroyer 340 last year.  I haven't stuck anything with it yet but man is it smooth and super fast.  $500 should get you something pretty decent 3 or 4 years old.  Or roughly the price range of a new Bowtech Assassin.  The Assassin's are a very highly rated bow at a really good price.

Do you have an Elite dealer near you? I agree probably should at least shoot the bow you just got to see if your gonna like. I would go to the archery shop and try the Answer out and give you my opinion but that may lead to me owning a third bow. ;D ;D

Just bought a new 2012 Elite Answer.......best bow that I have ever shot.

I had a local archery shop that had an open house and a lot of different bow available to try. I went in with my heart set on a Element. After trying several it came down to the Element and the CRX32, the CRX32 just felt right... Try them out! BTW I love my Hoyt ;D

Hey Adam, before you buy a Bow try out a Parker.

Gearjammer and I use to go shoot up in Lisbon and I had a Beans Bow I really loved for years, until I shot a Parker. Now I shot a Phoenix EZ-Draw 33, wish I found this one 1st.

Good Luck in your search

Thank you very much. The more I shoot it, the more I like it! Can't wait to put an Ulmer Edge thru something!
