I usually git em while fishing, take a dead bluegill, or my favorite cut one in half n use the half with the guts, throw the head out n toss your hook in a shallow weedy area, cought one too many snappers on this rig. btw snappers are very good, before you kill them, put them in a clean tank of water and flush it with clean water once a day til the water is clean and not dirty, this flushes them out so they dont taste like sh*t, usually takes about a week to flush them clean, the neck leg and tail meat is the best, the belly is usually fatty and nasty.
