Game Laws?
« on: Aug 08, 2007, 05:21:34 PM »
hey, i was wondering if someone could help me out. i was looking in the game laws the other day and was wondering if you could use scents to attract bear? i know that you cant bait or run bear with dogs but the laws didn't specify if you could use scent products to attract them. if anyone can help me out with this question just take a crack at it!

thanks

It might help if you put the state you are inquiring about the bear hunting laws.

Your best bet is to contact Mass wildlife the abstract does not get into detail some people think that if you use scents that is considered baiting to me baiting is purposely placing food in an area but if you happen to be walking to your favorite spot and accidentally drop your dunkin donut bag fill with doughnuts is not baiting  ;D
