Did my job

        The Sate gave me a doe tag so i filled it last nite.

Congrats TC!!  That's a nice sized doe.  Not sure what everybody else is seeing, but given the lack of deer on my wood lot, I'm taking the first deer (with antlers) that comes along.

         Yes we all want a nice buck however after a frustrating archery season i made the decision to take the 1st adult deer i saw . I do love to eat deer meat !  Now i can do a littel expanded archery if i feel like it and find a spot without a lot of pressure ?

I plan to use mine also, not waiting for horns. Nice doe TC, got some meat for the winter.

I some work off and on out on the island but never during season. Some day I need to figure out a way to hunt over there. I heard permission is hard to get though.
