My 13 yo Grandson proudly got his very first deer (3x3) on our first day out with his new rifle. Perfect one shot through the lungs with his .308. Only went 30 yards. No buck fever, only a great BIG smile after the shot. Made me proud. Next season he's holding out for a bigger one………aren't we all…..LOL!

This guy showed up on trail camera just before we got there (late start that morning due to unforeseen delays). Hopefully he's still around next season!

Congrats , tough year for deer here in Manitoba , but it's great when the next generation scores on there first hunt , builds a strong desire for the coming years . My son who is twelve got his first as well this year .

Beautiful first buck! Way to go, keeping the next generation outdoors. And nice shot; congrats to the grandson! ...... the thermometer in your trail cam may be off?
