I'm going on a northern Maine bear hunt at the end of the month and was wondering if anyone knew of any decent head nets to keep the mosquitos away.
-
I recommend the full shirt with the closing hood/headnet. Not sure where mine came from, but any potential opening around your neck will let them in. Get a Thermacell too.
-
Did ya ever try a Therma Cell?
-
thermacell is best bet......i ought to know being the queen of skeeter and bug bait.....just put me in the corner and sure you guys be fine and I get attacked.....thermacell works fantastico
-
As stated a few times before a Thermacell is a must. Good luck tagging a bear and make sure to take some pics to share of your hunt.

Me? Yeah, I got one for turkey season. It worked great on mosquitoes, but I never got to use it during black fly season.
Good luck on the bear hunt. Definitely take pics and share when you get back.

Don't even worry about it - I just got back from camp and there aren't any bugs in northern Maine... 8)

Haha. Ya I bet. And I have a thermacell I've used a could times but had bad luck with seeing bear while using it. And I'm trying to find almost like a bee keeper hat to wear just in case the thermacell doesn't keep them away. I'll post pics when I get back and I'm going to be video taping the hunt too so ill try to post that too
