Spring Turkey Stories and Pic's 2011

Bagged a good one Friday morning. He made me belly crawl about 30 yards to get close enough to call him in. He had 1 1/8" spurs and an 11 1/2" beard, 23 lbs. Good bird.

I called in one for my buddy this past tuesday morning. His had a 10 1/2" beard and 1 1/2" spurs. weighed about 22 lbs. A real brute! I killed mine in the same food plot 3 days later. 2 big boys in the same area!

It was a very unique fan with that white in it. I teased him that his bird must have been old and feeble because he was so gray!
