I'm sure your reaction would have been the same as mine, I know that there are animals in the woods, but when your sneaking in to your spot you just don't expect the 1 your hunting would be on the same trail as you. It's not like those head lamps light up the whole woods, just a little area ahead of you, & 15' is just too close for an early morning encounter! ???

           Yea, he been screwing the deer hunting in that area. If I get rid of him maybe the deer will come back! :-\

My fathers cousin shot a buck in 4J last week and left it over night. A bear destroyed it according to my father, not just eaten like a coyote would but shredded it.

                Wow, that's something to hear, they are scavengers & will eat anything. Could you imagine getting hurt in the woods w/an open wound & a bear smells it, 1 would be in deep $&%t.

           I took the ol'e smole gun out this morning, hunted till 11 am & saw noyhing, then I went out about 3:30, I saw 1 little 1, I just couldn't do it, so it is saved. I went out to my trail cam is & brought the card in, there is still plenty of action, I guess I have to change my tactics, but here's a slideshow.
