Well bears are good eating when processed right . And spring bears are the best of all because there is less fat to remove and when they come out of hibernation the muscles are soft . I have even eaten cougar that was made into salami so this almost wasting of whats usually good table fare doesn't sit well with me even though I do harvest my share of animals while trapping that I don't consume but other animals and birds do . Learn to process and cook the bear right and you will understand how good he is even if its an old boar . I know many who even prefer him over anything else . :-\

You bet BI did not get one this year but was exciting all the same Sorry it took so long to get this on has been a busy spring

It is a blast I have picked it up again and now I don't even think of my rifle when I think Hunting

BI you should look at coming guiding for the bou it is unbelievable up there.

If I was already on the "Freedom 55" plan, I'd consider it but with everything going on with my busy schedule, I can't seem to make my 7 weeks holidays go far enough as it is !!!!   ::)
