I use the hanging arm.....Like my bow where I can get it without looking....to keep an eye on the target, to see if I need to stop my movement or not.....Tried a couple of foot rest mounted holders.....always seemed to hit something and more movement to release them from the holder.....Just my opinion....You might love it!! As always different strokes for..... ;)

I have hangers on all my stands, but have my bow in my lap most of the time. That style always made me think I'd knock my bow out of the tree somehow.

             something else in the way : keep my bow in my lap most of the time : have hooks on side of me

I usually keep mine in my lap too....but sometimes it's nice to rest my hand a different way, or sometimes when it gets cold, it's hard to keep that hand warm.  Thanks guys for your comments!!
