mt greylock

went down and scouted the mt greylock region for the first time. Was wondering if anyone has hunted it before? The hopper rd region and ashford area look the best topographically.

ya i ended up hunting last year. made it down only 3x due to work last year. i should of stayed seated opening day. i got up and moved around 10 and when i came back threw around 330 a buck had walked right up my boot tracks 40 yds from my tree and ripped open a scrape and rubbed a 8 inch tree next to it.lol. saw one other nice buck on xmas eve. around a 130 in 8 pointer and never offered a clear shot. he came up about 150 yds from me in the pines but never gave a good shot.

Anyone been out on greylock this year? the north woods seem like ghost town this year deer wise. found 4 camera's and 7 treestands up there. never seen so much hunter activity up there this year.
