My cousin's brother-in-law was involved in a nasty hunting accident this year. He was hunting public land and a friend of his happened to come accross him in the woods. His buddy leaned his shot gun against a tree with out unloading it, then he placed his backpack against his gun and the gun went off! the slug shot into the tree and sent bark and tree pieces into my cousins' brother in laws eye and cheek. He is blind in one eye and still needs more surgery to remove pieces of tree.
